This Lodge is conveniently located just 5 miles from Downtown Blue
Ridge, GA., and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, Zip-Line, Swinging
Bridge, and many trails to Waterfalls. This one-of-a-kind, large retreat
cabin has recently been finished and made ready for you and your family
or group to enjoy. Don Quijote Lodge consists of 23 acres with a winding
creek running through it. In the surrounding view, you will enjoy shady
walks and admire the wildlife and the serenity of nature; lots of
blackberries bushes.
The
main floor has the master bedroom with king bed. For extra sleeping on
this level, there are two pull-out sofa in the living room where 5
people can sleep. The first level Independent Unit has 900 sq f. There
is a kitchen, 2 bathrooms,and laundry room; also, a patio door and
carport 16'x50'.
2nd/
floor, main entrance, an enjoyable living room, dining area, and a large
country porch.
On the
3rd. floor there are 2 half baths, 1 bathroom. The 2 rooms have a
private balcony. "Dulcenea" suite has 2 rooms, a queen bed, a love seat,
single hide bed, desk, T.V., dresser.
The "Sancho Panza" room has a queen bed, and
private balcony too.
A
loft lounge area has a 24 foot view of the South where deer and turkeys
graze.
There's an abundance of activities within a short drive of the lodge. One of the more popular attractions in the area is the
Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad and historic downtown Blue Ridge. It's a step back in time riding the train on a day trip along the Toccoa River into the old mining towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee. It's a family adventure and an experience you won't forget.

Only a half-hour drive away is the Ocoee Whitewater Center.
This is the scene of the 1996 Summer Olympics for kayaking. This river rushes through some of the most beautiful mountain landscape you'll find anywhere. There are many rafting companies stationed in the area and all have expert guides to ensure your safety and pleasure down the mighty Ocoee.
